Waipio Valley et Cascades tour

Explore the majestic Waipio Valley, beautiful Hamakua coast, and several beautiful waterfalls on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii on the day of fun and exciting adventure. After looking at the Kona Hotels Kohala region, head to the Waipio Valley through Waimea and Parker Ranch, before moving to a 4-wheel drive pickup truck to take to the majestic valley Waipio. As we cross the streams shallow rivers and pass by fields of taro surrounded by native flora and fauna, our guide will share the stories and legends of this special place while enjoying the highest waterfall on the island of Hawaii, Hi’ilawe Falls, which cascades down 1300 feet back of the valley. Marvel steep cliffs and black sand beach mile as you return to Waipio Valley Lookout for breathtaking views as you enjoy the gourmet lunch.

In the afternoon, we continue down the road of the Hamakua coast and visit the imposing picturesque Akaka Falls which tumbles 442 feet into a gorge eroded over water. If time permits, you will have to swim or kayak in a private waterfall to cool off after a short hike. Hilo, our guide will take you for a tour of a tropical fruit farm, tasting seasonal fruits and fresh macadamia nuts to a private gazebo overlooking the world-famous Rainbow Falls. The ends of adventure with the return to Kona or Kohala Coast resorts located in Saddle road between the highest mountain of the sea in the world, Mauna Kea, and the most massive mountain in the world.

Pick Location and time

Tour departs daily except Sunday. We pick up all stations and hotels Keahou, Kona, Waikoloa, and Kohala area between 7:00 to 8:00. real choice time varies depending on the location. Visit time is about 9.5 hours

What to do and wear

Wear a bathing suit, wear summer clothes comfortable. walking shoes are recommended covered.

Group size: Tours are limited to a maximum of 13 people per vehicle

Tour difficulty: easy hike short. 5 years or more are recommended.

Included in the tour: bento consists of teriyaki chicken, fish, vegetables and steamed rice with assorted juices, snacks, and bottled water. In addition, all entrance fees to the park, sunscreen, insect repellent, and rain gear.

Cancellation Policy: Minimum 24 hours notice for groups of 1-5, 48 hours for groups of 6 or more, and a 72-hour notice for private groups to receive a full refund.
